The Missile Defense mission is to develop and deploy a layered missile defense system to defend the United States and its deployed forces and allies against hypersonic and ballistic missile attacks of all ranges and in all phases of flight. Boecore works on several contracts within the missile defense sector that are responsible for detecting, tracking, engaging and destroying missile threats in space.
The Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system provides Combatant Commanders with the capability to engage and destroy intermediate and long-range ballistic missile threats in space. Boecore provides Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Specialized Mission Operations, and Mission Training support.
UEWR, Cobra Dane, AN-TPY2, SBX Modeling
The MDA Hi-fidelity tactical radar models are used to analyze sensor performance during BMDS campaigns. Boecore provides Systems and Software Engineering support.
Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Modeling
The MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Test and Evaluation mission includes the development and enhancement of various modeling and simulation tools and event operations requirements. Boecore provides Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, and Cybersecurity support.
The C2BMC system integrates disparate BMDS components to create a global, networked, and layered missile defense enterprise. C2BMC is utilized for planning missile defense engagements, providing situational awareness, managing missile trajectory calculations, providing sensor management, enabling engagement monitoring, and enhancing network management. Boecore provides System Engineering, Software Engineering, and Cybersecurity support.
Gamified BMDS Training and Education System
Boecore works with mission stakeholders to develop a gamified trainer for BMDS deliberate and crisis action planning. Using Agile Development techniques, Boecore creates a reusable process and software system for creating real-world training using gamification concepts. Boecore tailors the training experience to the specific environment and learning objectives in which the warfighter operates. To accommodate the MDA’s evolving defense planning curriculum, Boecore is adding assets from the air domain, cruise missiles and air engagement zones, to introduce IAMD concepts to the MDA JBTEC schoolhouse courses.
C2BMC (Missile Defense) Training System
The C2BMC Mission Specific Vendor Plug-In (MSVP) is replacing the current C2BMC stand-alone trainer. The C2BMC MSVP training system employs state-of-the-art gaming technology to emulate the look and feel of C2BMC without re-using the operational code base to facilitate training and certification of C2BMC operators. Boecore provides Software Engineering and Cybersecurity support.
