Colorado Springs’ top female leaders share insights

The Gazette hosted a roundtable discussion with five Colorado Springs women, touching on a variety of issues relating to women at the top, from what’s still wrong in terms of gender inequities in the workplace to strides that have been made.

Participants included Kathy Boe, founder and CEO of defense contractor Boecore; former El Paso County Commissioner Amy Lathen, who now heads Colorado Springs Forward, Margaret Sabin, president and CEO of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services, Colorado College President Jill Tiefenthaler and University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak.
